In Machines We Trust
In Machines We Trust Podcast is about the automation and transformation of our world. Automation is everywhere. Artificial intelligence is at their heart. They are making decisions based off massive amounts data. These systems can do everything from dynamic pricing online to reading job applications faster than humans. It's an interesting topic that should be on everyone’s radar.

Susie Armstrong
Among the many topics that are covered in this podcast is the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Susie Armstrong, SVP engineering at Qualcomm, talks about the state of AI, and how women are involved in this field. She also discusses the role of women in technology to improve society, breaking down stereotypes and embrace the power that diversity can play.
Turing test, MIT Technology Review
The Turing test is a common test to see how intelligent computers can be. This test is not easy to complete correctly. An interrogator will ask questions to the test subject. The two sides are in separate rooms, and the test is conducted without physical contact. The test subject's responses will be evaluated to determine their ability to distinguish between human and other responses. A human may fail the Turing test if they answer one question differently than a machine.
The Turing test is also controversial. Some critics say that the Turing Test does not measure high-intelligent behavior. This test requires that a machine appear as intelligent or more intelligent than a human to pass. Also, the machine should not seem too intelligent. If it solves computational problems that are difficult for a human to do, it will be disqualified from passing this test.

Qualcomm SVP of Engineering
A recent podcast featured Qualcomm SVP of Engineering Susie Armstrong. She spoke about diversity and women working in technology. She also spoke about her career path, including rising from a student intern at Qualcomm to a senior executive at Microsoft. She spoke about how leadership is essential in driving workplace equity. The show also addressed the role of women working in STEM fields and the challenges they face.
