metowe, a for-profit organization, offers a wide range of lifestyle products. Their mission? To empower people to make a difference in the world. They collaborate with communities in India and Ecuador to provide opportunities for youth to improve their lives.
ME to WE Trips Cost
There are many trips on the WE Charity website that allow North American participants to "step into Maasai warriors in Kenya" or experience a "shamanic ritual and receive hands-on weapon training in Ecuador." They include tours to an agricultural learning centre, a jungle hike or canoe ride and work on development projects.
ME to WE Youth Trips
ME to WE youth trips enable young travelers to fully immerse themselves into the lives of those in communities who are supporting WE Charity, a TreadRight charity. They will assist in the construction of a school and clean water system, as well as participate in interactive leadership training workshops.
Numerous WE Day events around the globe, including those in Vancouver and Calgary, were tagged with hashtags that related to cities (#wedayvancouver, #yyc) or specific WE events. This is evidence of poor urban-based education programming. Although these concerts are inspiring and fun, the cohashtag graph clearly shows that these programs encourage privilege hierarchies in Canada.
